Cookie and Privacy Policy

I. What are Cookies?

An HTTP cookie (literal translation from the English term HTTP cookie), commonly referred to simply as a "cookie", is a packet of information in the form of a very small file that is sent from a web server to the user's internet browser and subsequently returned by the browser each time the user accesses the same server.

II. Content and Purpose of Cookies

Cookies may contain information selected by the server and are used to maintain the state of HTTP transactions, to analyze website traffic, to improve website functionality, as well as for statistical and marketing purposes.

An example of information stored in a cookie is whether the user has given consent for the use of cookies, so that they are not asked again. Some embedded third-party services and videos use cookies to collect anonymous statistics regarding visits and the way the content is used.

III. Cookies We Use

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions taken by the user, such as setting privacy preferences or accessing secure areas of the website.

These cookies do not store personal data.

2. Performance and analytics cookies

These cookies collect information about how users use the website, such as which pages are visited most often. The data is used solely for statistical purposes and to improve the performance of the website.

This type of cookies is used only after the explicit consent of the user.

The website uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics -- traffic analysis
  • Meta (Facebook Pixel) -- marketing and statistical purposes
  • Hotjar -- analysis of user behavior and feedback. We use Hotjar to better understand our users' needs (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they click, what users do and don't like). This allows us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies to collect data on our users' behavior and their devices (IP address in anonymized form, device screen size, device type, browser information, geographic location—country only). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile.

The data is processed in a way that does not allow direct identification of a specific natural person.

IV. Cookie Storage Period

Cookies may be:

  • session cookies -- deleted when the browser is closed;
  • persistent cookies -- stored for a certain period of time or until manually deleted by the user.

The user may delete or block cookies at any time through their browser settings.

V. What do Cookies Identify?

Cookies do not identify a specific natural person, but a combination of device and browser. When different devices or browsers are used, separate cookies are created. Hotjar data is stored in a pseudonymized profile to ensure user identity remains protected.

VI. Cookie Management

The user may at any time:

  • block some or all cookies;
  • delete already stored cookies.

Restricting cookies may result in partial or complete malfunction of the website. To specifically opt-out of Hotjar tracking, you may visit https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out/.
